Inside the artist’s studio: discovering the creative universe of Sebastian Alvarez.

As part of our artistic encounters at Château de Mandelieu, Cosmopolitan Riviera had the pleasure of discovering the studio of Sebastian Alvarez, a visual artist and painter based in the United Kingdom.

During our visit, we were welcomed into his artistic workspace, offering us a closer look at the environment where his ideas, inspiration and artistic practice take shape.

Exploring his studio allowed us to discover his artworks and experience a more intimate side of his creative world, beyond the traditional exhibition setting. From the atmosphere of his workspace to the works surrounding us, this encounter offered a glimpse into the relationship between an artist and the space in which he creates.

Studio visits provide a unique opportunity to understand art from another perspective: not only through the finished canvas, but also through the creative environment, artistic choices and personal vision behind each work.
