A New Art Deco Brilliance

Brothers Fred and Christophe, seasoned entrepreneurs behind several well-known restaurants in Nice, took over the legendary Félix Faure and embarked on an ambitious renovation. The result is a contemporary reinterpretation of Art Deco codes, masterfully designed by Maison Balagane and Baldini Architecture.

From the refined blue-grey façade to the wrought-iron railings, globe light fixtures, mirrored ceilings, and velvet banquettes, every detail evokes the glamour of the Roaring Twenties—a fitting nod to the bar’s origins, dating back to 1929. Inside, the vast space unfolds across a main dining room, two adjoining rooms, and a mezzanine, all enhanced by mirrors that amplify light and perspective. Parquet floors, shades of blue, wood, ochre, and white create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the large sun-drenched terrace overlooks the Coulée Verte.

Large Scale, Genuine Quality

With its impressive size—300 seats and a staff of 45—one might fear an impersonal dining experience. On the contrary, the attentive service, friendliness of the team, and consistency of the food are at the heart of Félix Faure’s success.

Fred and Christophe have remained faithful to their long-standing values: short supply chains, local sourcing, and an eco-conscious approach, including a strict reduction of plastic use. Fruits and vegetables come from nearby producers, bread from Le Fournil Borriglione, fresh ravioli from La Clé aux Pâtes in Old Nice, and beer from Mauro Brewery in Antibes, a long-time partner. With 95% fresh products, the kitchen delivers both variety and quality at accessible prices.

Brasserie Classics with Italian Flair

The daily special, unbeatable in value, is a favorite among regulars. The menu offers generous salads, hearty land-and-sea dishes—such as daube with polenta, lamb shank, calf’s liver, whole turbot, scallops, and salmon tartare—and a wide selection of pasta dishes, true to Nice’s Italian heritage.

As expected, gnocchi, linguine, and rigatoni share the spotlight with a proper pizzeria, making Félix Faure a versatile address for every craving. Homemade desserts and a well-curated wine cellar complete the experience.

A Lively Place for Every Moment

Whether it’s an aioli lunch on the sunny terrace, a gourmet coffee break, a post-cinema snack, or a late-night drink, Le Félix Faure adapts to every rhythm of city life. The spacious layout also lends itself perfectly to private or corporate events, while temporary art exhibitions regularly bring an artistic flair to this vibrant meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

The Little Extra:
Always attentive to its guests’ needs, the team is developing a supervised children’s room for ages 4 to 13—allowing parents to enjoy a relaxed meal while kids are entertained. A thoughtful touch that reinforces Félix Faure’s family-friendly spirit.
