UNIQLO Opens a New Store on Rue d’Antibes in Cannes, Celebrating the French Riviera Lifestyle

Fashion, creativity and Mediterranean inspiration come together as UNIQLO opens its new Cannes store, bringing its Japanese LifeWear philosophy to the heart of the French Riviera.

Cannes welcomes a new shopping destination. On 22 October 2026, UNIQLO opened the doors of its new store at 68 Rue d’Antibes, just a short walk from the Croisette. With this new address, the Japanese fashion brand continues its expansion on the French Riviera, offering fashion lovers another place to explore contemporary everyday essentials.

Spread across 610 sqm and two levels, the store has been designed to showcase the brand’s collections for women and men. Its layout also features an indoor garden, introducing a touch of greenery into this new Cannes retail destination.

LifeWear: A Different Vision of Everyday Fashion

At the heart of UNIQLO’s identity is its LifeWear philosophy: an approach to clothing that focuses on simplicity, comfort, functionality and quality. The brand creates versatile pieces designed to accompany everyday life through clean lines and timeless aesthetics.

This philosophy feels particularly at home in Cannes, where daily life moves between professional meetings, walks along the Croisette, seaside lunches and coastal escapes. A versatile wardrobe naturally complements the different rhythms of Riviera living.

Local Creativity Meets Japanese Inspiration

For its arrival in Cannes, UNIQLO has chosen to celebrate local creativity through a collaboration with Cannes-based artist Franck Lebraly.

The artist has created a mural for the store, alongside an exclusive UTme! collection inspired by the French Riviera and Provence. This artistic collaboration brings a local perspective to the brand’s universe, drawing inspiration from Mediterranean light and the distinctive character of the region.

The opening also highlights a meeting of cultures through Grasse-based Robertet, the renowned specialist in natural raw materials and fragrance. The company has created an exclusive olfactory signature for the store, inspired by the encounter between Japan and the Mediterranean, adding another sensory dimension to the shopping experience.

A Festive Opening with Local Flavours

The opening celebrations also feature culinary and cultural experiences.

On 22 October, Volupté Anytime welcomed early visitors with a breakfast offering, while a Japanese Taiko drumming performance brought rhythm and energy to the festivities.

Mochi lovers can also discover creations through a collaboration with Mochi Coffee, featuring flavours inspired by Provence. Tastings were announced for 22 and 24 October, subject to the arrangements set by the organisers.

Through these initiatives, UNIQLO brings together its Japanese identity and regional partners, creating a shopping experience that extends beyond fashion.

A New Chapter for Cannes Shopping

With its new location on Rue d’Antibes, Cannes further strengthens its retail offering and fashion appeal. The opening marks UNIQLO’s third location in the Alpes-Maritimes, following its stores in Nice and Cagnes-sur-Mer.

More than simply a new shop, this address brings together everyday fashion, artistic expression and Mediterranean inspiration. It offers another shopping stop to discover while enjoying Cannes, between stylish boutiques, café terraces and the unmistakable Riviera lifestyle.
